I went to an estate sale this morning and they had a box of misc. dolls. She said they were her daughters, who is all grown up now.
She wants $75 for them but I said I would come back tomorrow.
I don't know much about Barbies. Is there anything I should look for. they look in pretty good shape and have clothes but some of the shoes are missing.

The biggest money comes from vintage Barbies, 60,s 70,s. Look them up and check out their hair. Also, vintage clothes sell very well. I've sold most of mine that I collected in the last few years and the Holiday Barbies are top sellers, but are Mint in box. Hope that helps.

I agree, the dolls themselves have to be in perfect condition, collectors are not interested in "played with" ones unless they are vintage and rare. Clothes do sell quite well I have found.

if her daughter is only in her 20's the barbies are not very old .... and will not sell well. ... but, if her daughter is in, say, her late 30s, then you might have $75 worth of barbie things ...
