I saw a independant review of the Ultimate Chopper (as seen on TV) on our local news, they loved it, did everything they said it would do. So now I'm interested.

I found one on eBay, the seller has 10 FB so I checked them out, all positives, so far so good, but I'm not happy with the seller saying they "may be" sold out & will ship asap so I check more FB.

On the first FB page I also see several positives from a seller kimccleary, NARU.
When I click on the first FB left by kimccleary I see the the same auction & terms of what I plan to bid on.
It looks to me that the seller dkdiscountplace used to be kimccleary & has bid on her own auctions & is now NARU & has re-registered under a new name.
"Both sellers" live in IN & kimccleary has many negs for non shipment.

What do you think & should I steer clear of this seller. Looks like they are one & the same.

Here is the auction.

There are 65 listed why take a chance if you are in doubt?

You're a professional seller. If you smell smoke, there's a good chance there's a fire someplace. Pass on this one and continue to use the trusty knife and chopping block till you find a seller you are comfortable with.

I will keep looking, was interested in this one because it ends in less than an hour.
Your right sparks, lots of smoke here & I am not really in a hurry.

dad, darned if I saw 65 of them listed, have to look again. I only saw a few.

His OUT-OF-STOCK warning is probably indicative of his use of drop-shippers???

I put a similar warning in my DROP-SHIPPED auctions: I'll refund 100% PLUS add a $5 GIFT if my drop-shipper runs out & I can't ship within PayPal's 7 day requirement

Fortunately, I stumbled upon a really outstanding drop-shipper who ships the day I pay & is very RARELY OOS! I've only had to refund ONCE due to back-order (out of 1000 orders)

So...I wouldn't have avoided this seller just because of a possibility of OOS -- I WOULD avoid him because of his very NEGATIVE attitude towards bidders, as expoused in his TOS

LOL! mcjane, I saw the title of this thread, and thought..."mcjane is going to get a motorcycle?!"

Just had to share the laugh with you - it was while I was waiting on the coffee, and wasn't fully awake yet!

Right tom, really bad TOS even to where I have to pay return postage if the product is defective.
I think he used to be NARU kimccleary & screwed a lot of people by selling & not delivering. Lots of red flags here.

wgm, how funny, never been on a motorcycle in my life, did rent a Moped while in Bermuda though.

me too, I thought maybe you are a Harley Mama. Of course it's Thunder Bike week here...lots of harleys. Saw a woman on a Harley with training wheels this morning

So, how's the house going so far? got any walls up yet?

glassgrl, never catch me on one.

The house is well underway, next week the roof goes on & it will go fast after that & maybe I can get a better picture. It's hard to get a good one though because the house is on a hill & you have to shoot up.

It looks bigger than my old house, but isn't all that much because it's built on the same foundation.
There is now a bedroom over the garage that wasn't there before so maybe it's a little bit bigger.
The closet in my bedroom is 5 x 11 feet. Instead of two rooms we made it into one large bedroom. The bedroom over the garage will also have a walk in closet, but not as big because there will also be a bathroom up there. The addition we added a few years ago can be the third bedroom, but I am using it for my eBay room for now.
As for the kitchen, I bought all the extras you mentioned & have. I am so glad you told me about them.
This will be my fourth house, but this one will be brand new & that's a first for me.
Would you believe it was a year ago September 18th that Hurricane Isabel totaled my house.

AWESOME McJane! I know you're over there every day swinging a hammer huh?

you'll get tired of sweeping when they start doing the drywall

Gosh it looks just HUGE! Gorgeous gorgeous yard.

What's the outside going to be covered in?

Oh, and for my *next* house I wish I didn't have that cottage cheese stuff on my ceilings so I could paint them the same color as the walls like they do on Designer Guys.

Glass - Use a water base paint, thin it out some and rent a sprayer from your local equipment rental place. It may take a couple coats to get all of the nooks and crannies (thinning is double ussefull - it makes multiple coats a little more economical and it makes the paint more absorbable for the accoustic material. Just make sure when you do the spray you angel the shot and start each coat from a different corner. Sounds kooky as hell but it works ; )
