twice in the last two days I have gotten a paypal "receipt" that is a fraud. same exact text both times, there is an embedded link in the email they use to try and phish your account information. I did report this to paypal. Everyone else be aware if you get a "receipt" from paypal that you paid $278.99 to [email protected] it is a scam. never reply to links in email. I really wish the paypal police would locate these jerks and terminate their presence on the net.
This email confirms that you have paid phonebuyer ([email protected]) $278.99 USD using PayPal.

yes, postcardman ... we get these too for the past few months ... various fake "amounts" to various fake 'email addresses' for various supposedly 'bought' items.
and it IS scary, because it looks quite real ... and it tells you to "click bellow" if you want to cancel the payment
yes 'bellow' misspelled.
... but that's about it as far as it does look real, uses the paypal logo, tells you off to the right how to 'protect' your paypal account from fraud, etc..
