A bidder is mailing in payment from an APO location.
How long does it generally take to arrive? I live in Minnesota. Thanks in advance.

I am also in the Twin Cities. It all depends upon where it is coming from. APO is a military designation and it could be from many different areas. If you are shipping to the APO, you will need to use the USPS and most likely you will have to fill out a customs form just like any other international shipment. You are also better off sending it air mail as this will get it to your buyer in a reasonable time with the chances of getting lost or damaged greatly reduced.

I think FPO means Fleet Post Office, I could be wrong. Does APO mean Air Post Office?

Oops,
When I said air mail, I meant to say priority. Yes, send it priority.

Hi Stonecold:

Do bidders that have a APO/FPO address
show up as "APO/FPO" under their location
or does it just say United States?

Thanks.

Hi,

I just had a winning bidder w/an APO address.

It shows in the sold page like this:

Buyer's Postal Code: APO/FPO

They can show up in many different ways. Usually they will have their Zip Code listed. Sometimes it will say APO/FPO. Sometimes even the country that they are in. Generally if you get a zip code that starts in the lower 00--- or the higher 96---, I will go to the usps site and check to see where the zip code is. If it is APO/FPO, it will tell you there.
