I was wondering if this would be permissable under ebay rules. The webstore is a non-eBay store. Would it violate ebay rules to offer say a 50% off coupon for purchases at www.yourwebstorehere.com on ebay? Has anyone tried this? Does it seem like a good idea? I thought the title might refer to the specific types of items available something like
50% off coupon all flurbuzles at www.fluerbuzle.com

I would think you would be skating on thin ice. They could look at it as another coupon auction, or they could look at it as an attempt to skate around the passive link rule and promote your website. It would just depend on which Ebay rep reviewed the complaint sent in by an Ebay cop or competitor.
