A buyer won 5 of my auctions 3 days ago, I sent a couple of emails and got no reply. So tonight I sent a message through "ask buyer a question" This is part of the email I just received.

How am I supposed to contact this buyer? Do I report it as an invalid email address?

Two things you can do. You can either phone her and tell her to get a Yahoo email addy for her Ebay business, or you can report it as an invalid email addy to Ebay and they will call her and tell her essentially the same thing. It is an invalid address if it cannot receive email sent from Ebay's servers. I would suggest the second option and let Ebay pay for the phone call.

I have been having the same problem with AOL people, only I didn't get a message. One even gave me neg for not answering her questions. Last night I had enough and reported the latest one for having an invalid e-mail. Tonight she e-mailed and apologized for all the problems. She had reported it to eBay and they were working on the problem. Yeah, right. eBay got her about her spam blocker.

Go ahead and report these people. That's the only thing that going to stop it and get eBay in gear to address the problem.

I just had to make a long distance call to MN to an AOL customer. She has sent me a request for an invoice twice. I replied twice. My problem is that her email address is wrong, wrong, wrong. AOL doesn't recognize her. Apparently she changed her email address and didn't change it with eBay. It's frustrating when you can't get in touch with your buyers and then they take it out on you. Anyway, left her a LONG message on her answering machine. Still haven't heard from her. I think I know where this is going.

I have reported it as an "invalid address". Hopefully eBay will do something about it. I had one that I reported 5 times, and eventually got a neg. but eBay took it off thankfully. I too get problems with AOL buyers all the time, but this is the first time I ever got a spam block email. I didn't get it when I wrote directly to her email address, just through eBay. If her eBay emails are blocked, then how can she get EOA notices etc.

With all the listing, fvf, Vendio, Paypal, Gallery fees etc, I refuse to pay long distance phone call charges from Canada to the US. I sell low cost items, and it's hard to mak a profit. People really should have their systems set up correctly if they want use eBay.
Ok, that's my "rant for the day"
