In August I had instsall a new HD, at the same time I put in XP Pro. After this, every time I went into My ebay I had tosign in & use my password. As of yesterday, I no longer have to do this. Please explain what has changed.

Count yourself lucky! I just went into ebay to put the shipping calculators in some new auctions and had to sign in every time to get to my ebay and the last one I had to sign in again going into the shipping details page. Once in the shipping details, I got the old form of the shipping calculator. Go Figure! Oh well, I guess I will go practice signing in some more.

I wish I knew! Everytime I go on my eBay on my desktop I have to lotgin, but not on my husband's laptop, it goes straight through. Both are windows XP, so how can you explain that.

With no intention of being insulting, but did you check the box on login that says "Keep me signed in on this computer unless I sign out?"

Quit panicing. Ebay has already stated it is a problem with their new program and are working to fix it. Be patient.
