Hi niel35,
I'm sure you get a mixed review on shipping services. I myself have only used USPS and UPS Both have been very good carriers. No Broken items and all packages have made it to there location. Fed ex is not availible here except through mail box ect and they charge a few extra bucks just to hand them the box . To me USPS is a better choice because after you print the postage you can ask them to pick it up for free the next day if it Priority or Express.

I've had excellent results with FedEx Ground. Their prices are very reasonable for items that weigh more than a couple pounds. FedEx now owns Kinko's, and every Kinkos is an authorized full service FedEx shipping center without the retail charge imposed by the private Pack & Ship stores.

Contary to what toasted said, I have had really bad luck with UPS. I use FedEx Ground for everything over 4 lbs. & Priority Mail under that. I insure with DSI for less than half of USPS insurance. I print my postage through PayPal & never have to go to the PO.

Printing postage from paypal is a real time saver - so I'm back to using USPS on most items.
I still use DHL on larger items but they can't seem to get there billing correct. I save a lot with them - they are less than almost everyone except Greyhound in some cases. And they are trying to get it right. I now have 2 sales representative to call if I have a problem
