This is just ridiculous...I can't imagine anything else that is like this that would be down for this long. If my merchant account was down for days, I would be looking for a different company, but what choice do I have with paypal?

I'm in Northern New England and I can't get into PayPal either. I can easily access the home page, but after I type in my password I get an apology in red letters stating that the site is having problems (again!) and thank-you for your patience. Well, my patience is wearing thin! It seemed these problems all started when PayPal switched over to their new home page. What was wrong with the old home page? The one that worked FINE?!?!

and why can't they go back to a state when they knew the system was stable?? This is ridiculous!!!

I just got in without any trouble, so it looks like it's fixed for the moment. I'm in Southern California.
