Hello everyone. I am looking for some advice on how to proceed in trying to sell more items.

I sell vintage t shirts and the regular polo shirts (used and new). I have been selling them on Ebay through auctions. However, with a big decrease in sales lately, I was wondering if maybe I should now do auctions with a Ebay store, or do our regular Ebay auctions with a Vendio store.

I have been running approx 250 auctions a week (since 1998). But lately with a decline in sales, was just wondering if perhaps we should be moving away from the auctions and using a store, but Ebay or Vendio?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

If you put Ralphie up for auction, be sure to let me know. That's one I will bid on. You wouldn't even have to bother with shipping. I would come get him.

I have yet to sell anything out of my Vendio store however, my ebay store does quite well. The way I do it is to put a few items out on auction covering different store categories and then promote the heck out of my ebay store in both my listings and all emails. I also mention it on the invoices that I send with sold items. Hope that this is of some help.

I'll raise that bid: 10 squirrels, a thousand chipmunks and ground squirrels, 8 deer, 1 mountain lion, 2 bobcats. AND. . . the deer include two very young ones.

Do I win Ralphie?! If not, I'll throw in some birds.

My wife's from the midwest. Very nice people there. Very wholesome.
They use words like 'Cripes' 'For Cripes sake.' Who would that be; Jesus Cripes? The son of 'Gosh' of the church of 'Holy Moly'? I'm not making fun of it. You think I wanna burn in 'Heck'?

Ebay stores have been very successful for me, and definitely help move less desirable inventory (stuff that is not necessarily worth putting on auction, but for 2 cents work well in a store setting) - It depends on what you sell though, not sure how shirts would be - I think a lot of my sales are marketing strategies that have people buying multiple items. Just got my September report, and I sold 1032 store items, so I am happy (and busy!)

The Vendio stores do work for some people but I think your time is better spent listing in an ebay store...you can only put a teeny tiny reference to your Vendio Store in your ebay auctions, while you can promote and link like crazy to your ebay store in every auction,

Make sure you read the ebay store sellers discussion board about strategies to promote your store.

Half of my sales last week came from my ebay store.

If you put the Ebay items that didn't sell with Ebay Auction venue into your Ebay store and Ebay has a FLD, what do you do? Thanks in advance!
