The bidder sent me a money order with my Ebay name on it. I can't cash it. The website says you can mail it back to Bid Pay.
Has anyone ever had to do this? Does it take a long time to get a replacement. I can't find an email address to get a question answered.

As long as I endorse the back, my bank takes just about anything -- made out to Ralphie, Irving R. Feldman, Frito Bandito -- just about anybody???

Just sign it with your eBay name than re-endorse it with your name on your account. As long as you aren't doing anything fraudulent, it's legal.

Doing as Parklane says should work fine.
If your neighbor paid you money he owed you, with a check someone gave him.
He would sign the back, give it to you, then you would sign your name and cash it.

Endorse with your Ebay user name and sign under it with your real name. If it becomes a problem, add your Ebay user name to the signature card for your account.
