I'm selling these two pairs of sterling earrings for someone and need some assistance. The first pair is very old and is marked 925. If anyone can help date these (approximate), I'd appreciate it:
The second pair is marked 2001 (I know these are not from the date 2001), LUD, 925 and Taxco Mexico. I can't find the LUD or 2001 mark on the Mexican silver site I have. They have screw backs and these are old, too. Not as old as the first pair, though. Anyone recognize the LUD?
I don't mind selling things for other people, but when they know nothing about what they give me it becomes more difficult. I'm not great with vintage or antique jewelry. Thanks, all.

Ya, been there. The mark is simply 2001 the initials LUD in caps, 925, and then TAXCO MEXICO. I'm having a hard time finding who LUD is and what 2001 means. Thanks.

Cheryl, How did you take those fotos? Did you use a white background? Please share the info. I love how you did that.

I did use a white background. I used brightness and contrast to make it appear as though there is no background. If I have an object that is dark, I simply cut the background out. If you're background is dark or a color, you have to cut the background out and then save as a gif file unless you replace the background with your background color or image. Sometimes I spend far too long on a picture.
I use MS PhotoDraw and Ulead PhotoImpact (a great program!!).

Thanks Cheryl. I was hoping you just used a white background. That's a neat trick. Quick and easy to do. Great fotos! Love the way you did those shadows and still caught the details of the earrings.

HI I don't know anything about the hoops save the fact that I love them. What's your ebay name so I can look at the auction. Thanks very much
