Hello. A few days ago, I had asked for advice on opening a Ebay store.
On the Ebay boards, a lot of people were saying on their traffic reports, that a lot of traffic through their store was coming through searches on Google, Froogle, AOL, MSN searches.
So my question would be if I tried a Vendio store, is that like a Ebay store in the search engines? Will Vendio send a link of my store to the search engines?

bluerocks .... I think the only "main" search engine that vendio stores are submitted to is Froogle.com, but I did once get a buyer who said she found my (vendio store) item through a yahoo search.

If your store is open long enough and if you submit it to the search engines, then you will be listed on google etc. But, you have to do the work.

Whether we like feebay or not, their auctions, and stores just get more exposure.
I use the absolute best Search Engine "submit program," that I have ever found, and with 4+ web sites, I did lots of testing and research prior to purchasing a major submit program.
BUT, just submitting anything won't necessarily get you listed. You need to have proper Meta Tags on the page/site you submit, etc. SUBMIT WOLF 6, walks you right through the process, and then does the submitting for you to the correct engines, and link carriers for your site. Some search engines, and there are MANY, look at much more than mere titles, they check meta tags, or how many people are actually linked to you, and various other criteria - Therefore, I use a top program to do my submitting, plus it saves endless time over manual submitting.
Personally, I have just upgraded from Submit Wolf 6 to Trellian's COMPLETE SEO PROGRAM, a complete program that will write the meta tags, select correct key words, check you position on all the search engines, etc.
I have used Trellian programs for about 5 years, they are updated daily for new link sites, and updates on search engines.
As with anything else, they are free, and for some they may seem pricy, but 1. They are tax deductable for your business, 2. One good sale quickly covers the cost, plus the time it saves it phenominal, and time is money!
