Was wondering if there was a program that I can download so I can go to yahoo and look at the Japanese site in English.

See if this works for you. I use is quite often but I have never translated Japanesse.
I see you can enter a web address so it just might help.

babelfish translation--especially from asian languages--can be dicey. But it is free.
Most free translation sites on the Net do about the same job as Babelfish.

Unfortunately, if you want really good translation software you have to pay big bucks for it.

touche'

Libra-I have used Bablel fish for cut and pasting German auctions-but the main site itself is in english so I can navagate it pretty well. The Japansese site the whole thing is in Japanese and I cant cut and paste everything I read, I need to navagate quicker then that.In other words when I get on the auction site for Japan yahoo,I want the whole site to come in English.

Some sites do provide that option--but I can't see anywhere on the Yahoo Japan site that allows you to do that.

This site has several options but for an online language translator that will do entire web pages I think you have to pay a yearly fee.

KIARA YOU ARE GREAT!

I went to world lingo & discovered their "online translator." IT IS FREE, and it did the job of translating the Yahoo Japan website no problem, where Babelfish could not.

I will be adding this link to my Reference folder
