AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HANFORD CA
115 PM PST SUN OCT 31 2004
.SHORT TERM...FOR THE CENTRAL CALIFORNIA INTERIOR...GHOULISH STRATUS
CLOUDS HAVE EERILY BEGUN TO VAPORIZE THIS AFTERNOON, BECOMING WISPY
AND GHOSTLIKE IN THE DAYTIME HEATING. OVER THE REMAINDER OF THE
AREA, CLEAR SKIES WILL KEEP THE WITCHES HAPPY AND MAKE FOR EXCELLENT
BROOM RIDING CONDITIONS. AFTER THE WITCHING HOUR (MIDNIGHT) LINGERING
LOW LEVEL MOISTURE WILL ALLOW SOME OF THESE CLOUDS TO REFORM OVER THE
SOUTH END OF THE SJV AND ALONG THE FOOTHILLS. CREEPY FOG WILL
LIKELY DEVELOP DURING THE LATE NIGHT HOURS, ESPECIALLY OVER
SWAMPS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS. EVEN THOUGH IT WILL BE CHILLY, IT
DOESN'T APPEAR THAT ANY LOCATIONS IN THE SJV WILL SEE FROST ON THE
PUMPKIN TONIGHT. VAMPIRES ARE ADVISED THAT SUNRISE COMES AN HOUR
EARLY NOW THAT STANDARD TIME HAS RETURNED...HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I'm not sure Lucy. About the only time we get over to Hanford anymore is on a holiday weekend for the flea market. The various food vendors there have some of the best in the state, so we don't bother going downtown to eat. The onion and garlic dehydrator close by gets the appetite stirred up quite early. Plus the Mexican bakery truck comes through with pastries and baked goods that are not available in any stores or restaurants. It's the only swap meet I know of where you can walk 5 miles and still gain weight

I remember... It was the Imperial Dynasty. Used to make a weekend of it decades ago. We'd drive over to Hanford, get rooms, have a sumptuous many-course dinner. Make our way back to the hotel through the fog and come home the next day.
That swap meet sounds like one I'd enjoy! Mexican pastries are great. There are some super Mexican bakeries in Watsonville.

I'm sorry but you cannot mention Meixcan pastries without paying homage to the Hostess of Mexico and my all time favorite company... BIMBO!
You gotta love a company that unabashedly carries on operations here in the USA making yummy goodies for kiddies and kids at heart with an adorable little bear for a mascot and a company name of Bimbo. It's a beautiful thing.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?
