I remember hearing terminology for various things like a set of jewelry with earrings and necklace, or a 3-item set (parure, demi-parure, etc.) and recently the name for a necklace that has a built-on pendant (not removable). Brain farts have prevented me from dredging these up in my befuddled head.

People have referred to some good nomenclature sites. Anyone?

eww Itray lol ....a creative mind can sell anything huh. I walked out the front door a couple days ago and one of them great big beetles were stuck in a cup. I felt so bad for it I flipped the cup over and let it loose. I don't think I could make jewelry out of it. lol not even if I found it dead first.

Lavalier! Yes! That's it. Thanks, ltray. And my gosh, those real beetles remind me of the Egyptian scarabs. They're beautiful but I ain't gonna wear one on my chest.
