She'll need the $18,000 to pay for the therapy bills when her gets a few years older and feels guilty about selling off Granpa's ghost. <I'm kidding>

It seems her actions are noble, she was just trying to bring some closure and ease her son's fears. So sad that it has been up so high. The FVF is going to sting!

Although I question the seller's methods, I understand her motives.

Why do I have a feeling that the winning bidder on this ghost cane will turn out to be a ghost winner when it comes time to pay?

yeah, I believe her ...that is maybe....well, perhaps. I've raised too many children to dismiss the story out of hand entirely.

I said "the FVF is going to sting".
It will sting because the high bidder, isn't going to pay.

Unless that casino that bought the grilled cheese wants to get in on this action.....

Did you read all the questions for seller at the very end of that page? Holy cow. "God bless you" and people who don't want to bid on the cane but want to send her little son money. . . . P.T.Barnum must be spinning in his grave.

Why on earth would she want to get rid of that cane. It's the one thing that will keep that little rugrat in line. Next time he sneaks into mommy's schnapps, WHACK up along the side of the head and he regains his senses. Next thing you know, she'll have a pair of brass knuckles up for sale along with a sob story that will bring in donations for hubby.

Classic, I already own THE Brooklyn Bridge, why would I want another one? I bought it from this nice man who sells things on the street. He also sells some really nice watches....I think the brand name starts with "R". Wait,....... a minute, you remind me of him. Are you trying to sell my bridge to someone ELSE !?!

Seriously though, the tone of her answers have a ring of truth to them.
She is now asking for someone to give her eBay's phone number ...probably to pre-approve bidders. It's down to $450.00 now.

Between the ages of 3 and 5 (sometimes older) children have the most interesting interpretations of reality. I'm not buying her story 100% exactly, but I don't find it all that incredible.

The people bidding on it over the $20.00 mark.....now that's crazy,..... or generous.

Dear Santa,

I would like a Virgin Mary Grilled Cheese and a ghost cane for Christmas.

My boyfriend says I'm very very good.
