Will someone please tell me what these earring parts are called? They are made of some sort of stone and I have a buch in different colors. Forgive me if the image is not up, this is a first attempt.

Somewhere on this message board there were instructions on how to bring an image in Vendio to this message board. Because I don't see a search function I can't find it!

You need the actual real good image infront of you -- the end will always be: ".jpg" or ".gif"
So, now the pic is in front of yer face -- see it? Nice & big picture & real?? DO NOT USE THE URL UP THERE AT THE TOP OF YER BROWSER!! do thusly...
1) RIGHT CLICK on the IMAGE IN FRONT OF YOU and...a NEW box called "PROPERTIES" appears! In that NEW BOX...
2) 1/2 way down is the URL of yer pic! IT HAS TO BE ENDING IN ".jpg" or ".gif" and NOT have the word "THUMBS" anyplace...
3) JUST COPY&PASTE that URL onto the board with...
4) [img*]URL_of_YER_pic_GOES_here[/img*]
REMOVE those silly stars & ye be all set!
hard to do from memory

looks like your image url is not pointing to the image itself.
check the image by opening it in a page by itself, for example "view image" if you right mouse it.
Then copy that addy, use Tom's instructions.

Your earrings look like they could be made of marble.

Yes they do look like marble, and feel like it too. Can't find it now but one other pair was marked Lapiz. Bought these at an estate sale and from all the jewelry there it seemed like the former owner was in the jewelry business. But what are these called? I'm reluctant to call them earrings because there is no way to put them on, another part is needed.

Unless I'm wrong they have hoops that these go thought. They are usually sold in set with different "colored stone" parts. I've seen them in plastic, different stone colors and even glass. You change colors to best suit what you are wearing.
See if you can exchange these for the lapiz stones - if you know what I mean?
Someone posted a few weeks ago how they loved rocks and stones. I think it was Kevin but can't be sure. They could tell you what kind of stone you have.

I would sell them under jewelry/loose beads perhaps findings.
Look up "donuts" there are a lot of those people are using these days in the bead world. These are the same thing but perfectly centered circles made of everything from stone to glass, mostly stone.
Definitely put "80's revival"
Somehow I am thinking that they are like the door knockers Bea Arthur wears all the time in Golden Girls.
Beads may be productive.
