I thought it used to be that you had 30 days from the closing of the auction to the last date you could file for final NPB form, but it seems by the information on the NPB page that it is 45 days. Can someone confirm that please? I have someone who has won 19 auctions, and had the inevitable "hospital admission" but insists that they "check is in the mail". I don't want to miss out on return of my fees, I've done that too much recently.

I believe it is 45 days, but I don't care what the excuse, I don't wait that long. I will file NPB, and tell them I will remove the warning after the check arrives. I tend not to file NPB until about 15 or more days after the auction ends, so they have plenty of time to pay. I've found filing NPB is a great motivator to actually get people to pay!
