Well, ya' gotta laugh, the newbies or no brainers are comming out of the wood work. I just had an auction close on a quite HUGE item. Auction states plainly in big bold letters: NO Shipping. Lowered the price because I didnt want to have to ship the darn thing. I even have "NO Ship- Pick up only" in the title. I emailed the highest bidder bidder this morning, reminding them that there is no shipping and I hope they live local to me. If not and they wanted to recind their bid, I would do so before the end of the auction. After the auction end, it's their responsibility. BLAH BLAH . . Wouldnt you know it, they live on the other end of the country. WHOOPPEEEE Another FOOO PAR hassle to deal with. Can we all smile and say "Happy Holidays" ?

Check Greyhound. Go get some of that stuff the moving companies wrap around mirrors, etc. Should protect almost anything.
Do all this BEFORE you send her your final S/H charge. Oh, I forgot to say, be sure you add on $10-15 for your trouble and put some Christmas stickers on the outside of the package.

Bidder.... Have not recieved it.
Me......... Could you provide some more info. What is the item? Item number?
Bidder.... Well... Have you shipped it yet?
Me......... What is "it"? I cannot give you any information without some idea of what it is you are referring to.
Bidder.... I'm reporting you to ebay.
I'm not really worried - I think ebay would also want to know what "it" is but I'm not at all sure she knows.

Hotmail User.....I paid for my item - have you shipped it?
Me..... Order has been shipped - please check your spam folder for the shipping confirmation email. Hotmail often redirects it there.
Hotmail User.... I didn't buy for a spam folder, can you just send it directly to my regular folder?

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

Sure would be NICE if the bidder had a ZIP CODE visible SOMEWHERE in their Information,,,Like on the feedback card, perhaps? Instead of that USELESS United States. Oh, woe is me, I guess a SIMPLE ZIP code would just be WAAAAAAAAAAAY too much information......Oh well,,,,remember when we all TRIED to get that to happen?

I get a bidder who buys a watch and is sending a money order, they send an e-mail to confirm the address they are sending their payment to...their spelling is something else. The name of the town they are sending this to is no where near the town I live in,so I have to e-mail her back and tell her please be sure you spell it right. Maybe the zip code Gods will get it to me,and then she'll cry when she don't get it for Christmas. Yea right you tie your payment to a groundhog and expect him to walk to Kentucky and deliver your payment in a flash! And half of these payments I'm waiting on thats what they must have done.

Every now and then I think I've got to get out of this. Are people really this dumb? But I always remember the lady I stood behind at the post office who was buying a ton of stamps because the rate was going up soon and she wanted to stock up.
Was always curious how many ? cent stamps she bought in the following months
Yes I like a Polish with kruat. Hold the mustard. Does that also come with fries?
Q. What's the difference between the Vietnam War and the Iraq War?
A. George W. Bush had a plan to get out of the Vietnam War.

I just had someone buy 8 of the same item from my Ebay store. Shipping on these are $1.50 each. This person wanted to know if all 8 were still just $1.50 total for shipping. Oh Boy I had to shake my head. The first thing I thought of was Bill Engvall and some kind of "Here's Your Sign" comeback. I was nice about it though and explained to her that it was for each not all of them but I did combine shipping for her. Haven't heard back yet.
Tis' the season for braindead shoppers. Fa la la la la la la la.
