Since the new Check 21 change has come out that allows personal checks to clear as quickly as the same day, has anyone who normally had a 7 - 10 day waiting period changed their policies? I'm thinking about changing my TOS since this has gone into effect.

I may change mine too but I wish there was a way to tell when the check has cleared - my bank is no help on this now.

Holding p-checks before shipping is a total waste of time, as they can bounce (& do bounce) 30 or more days down the road
Although I put that drivil in my listings (mainly to DISCOURAGE p-checks), in reality, I treat them the same as a MO -- only caveat being that I donna accept "starter" checks, & I consider it to be rude if anybody sends one (SO THERE...)
My listings NOW contain this blurb:
<center>No "starter" checks, please.</center><center>Shipping may be delayed pending personal check funds clearance.</center>
Since 1999, I've only had 1 RUBBER p-check, & he made it WHOLE before I even knew it had bounced...
