Got this email from a non paying bidder today...

i have no money in my bank. i cant pay for these and it's too late for christmas as well what do i do??!

My Response.... Pretend you are a responsible adult and live up to your obligations.

Sure it's snarky as hell but I think we can all agree this person has no intention of actually paying and it just felt so good to actually say what I really thought.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

classic...maybe you could try giving her some chocolate! When I am crotchety and snappish my DH usually puts chocolate in front of me and all my troubles just go away.....

I got a couple of "those" kinda emails during the holiday period too....sheeeesh...what's the matter with people anyways?

The best one was the college student who figured that "I'm broke, it's Christmas, and I'm a college student, so you can imagine I have no money" would work....and to top it off...her closing remark:

"...and it's ok if you leave me negative feedback, I really don't care"...

While December can be great for a nice spike in sales, it can also bring out thousands of newbies to eBay.....oh well....
