I like to leave feedback after I read what feedback was left for me.
I start at MyeBay, click on my user id, and it brings me to a feedback screen. When I click the auction number, half of the time it brings me to an auction listing that includes a link to "leave feedback for buyer if they've already paid", the other half of the time it brings me to an auction listing without the link (which makes it much less convenient).
Any of the eBay mavens know what determines which screen I'll get? And, how to make it the screen I want?

I am not an ebay maven by any means, but I do know that it depends on whether you are properly signed in or not. If you aren't getting the "leave feedback" screen, sign out and then in again and THEN go to the listing - you should be able to leave FB.

You will be better of going to the feedback pages.
First click on the services link at the top of the page. Then scroll down to ebay feedback forum. Then click on leave feedback. Then all of your items that you haven't left feedback for will appear. Then you can leave feedback for everyone that you need to instead of wasting time doing it one at a time from the my ebay pages.

I miss the old way of doing it too, from the auction screen itself. I've found the easiest way now is from myEbay page click the Feedback link on the left side list of options and it pulls up your ended auctions for the last 30 days or so, with an easy link for leaving feedback.
Not sure if this was what stonecold was recommending, but sorry if I'm repeating your advice, stonecold.

That's what I'm doing now. The problem is that I have to ask it to sort by feedback left, and then again to get positives at the top.

River,
That is not what I was recommending. In fact, I am stating not to do it that way. Leaving feedback one feedback at a time is simply a waste of time.
I suggest opening a new window, then go to ebay and then follow the clicks I state. You will find that all the auctions that you have not left feedback for will be there. There won't be any that you have already left feedback for. That way you do not have to wonder if you left the feedback and you won't have to sort through them.
