I am looking for a system that will return positive feedback once it is left for me.

As a powerseller with over 1200 FB and no negs, I am now adopting a return feedback only policy. Since I started that, I find that people are much more likely to contact me if they have a problem with thier item before leaving neutral feedback.

Does anybody have experience with a website or software that will automatically reply pos feedback?

Vendio has a nice setup for feedback, but i have simply outgrown it's functionality.

Thanks

We use http://www.merlinsoftware.com/instantfeedback
We have been using it for about 2 years and it will post feedback for your customers only if they leave it for you first...and if you get a Neutral or Negative feedback, it will give you a warning and not leave feedback for that person. I think its $20 to purchase the software, but you get free software updates for life.

That is what I do too, and I agree it means people are more likely to work something out if there is a problem instead of first leaving feedback.

The post about Merlin is right on. Been using it for a while now, it is a fanastic program. I literally spend zero time on feedback now! If there is a problem with the program (ebay always seems to be updating things) the guys who wrote it are EXCELLENT at getting back to you and fixing the problem, sometimes within minutes it seems. I strongly recommend this program. It's reasonably priced, and a fantastic program.

I downloaded Merlin. Looks great. Definately worth $20, heck I would pay a hundred.

Thanks so much for posting that for me!

I downloaded the free trial version today and it found 1 item that needed feedback. That was hours ago but as of now it hasn't been posted why?

Does it just take a while to show up in ebay or for some reason it isn't working right.

I didn't put in the email info on that tab as I use vendio and don't know the address for the SMTP server.

I noticed that too. I had a similar issue.

It seems that eBay "updated" so it won't work until the software gets updated.

I purchased the software and downloaded the Beta version and it works ok.

Just out of curiosity... for those who have switched from leaving feedback upon payment to leaving feedback only when it is left for you first...

What was the approximate percentage of feedback to sales left before?
What is the approximate percentage of feedback to sales now?

I switched about 3 years ago -- too many wackos & pretzel-chokers out there!

I do put a FB link into my "ITEM SHIPPED" emails along with the following blurb:

"Auctions should be fun! If you have any questions about your purchase after it arrives, PLEASE contact me! I check my feedback profile at least once/day and reciprocate immediately. I'm very grateful for all the kind comments over the past 5 years!"

I'd say I receive around 60-70% -- after I hit 1000, I no longer care, so, tis all GRAVEY now...
