I did a google search for my art work today and found one of Vendio launched Ebay Auctions listed in Ebay Canada. Same number as the one listed in the states and every thing looks in place but the prices are Candian Dollars.

I have never listed in Canada. Several other Auctions are also listed that I never posted in Canada. Does Ebay do this? Not all my listings are showing however.

I don't think Vendio launches to Canada so does anyone know how they got up there.?

You are just viewing the listing on the Canada site, which is how it was indexed in the google search engine.

Do you list internationally? If so they will show up in that countries listings. Well at least I think it does.

I do sell internationally and what to my surprise a bidder from China won my auction and part of the eBay notice was in chinesse.

Yes, These were found in a google search and I have no idea how long this has been going on. Over the past few months I have had at least one third of my auctions wins going overseas to the UK and Australia so I guess Ebay is listing them on their international Ebay sites without my knowledge.

Here's the catch. Vendio doesn't support other Ebay sites correct? But the auctions are showing the Vendio Templates. Hopefully I'm not paying the extra fee for listing in other Countries. So are they listing them for free?

There is no question that Ebay is launching them to their other sites and adjusting the exchange rate to show up as Candian Dollars or GPS or whatever.

Im not really complaining but it would be nice to know what's going on with my products. I prefer to have control over what I sell especially since I have US copyrights that aren't always considered in other countries.

My customers keep me informed and I have had to close overseas auctions through Vero because of copyright infringement. Pillows with my art work. Combined prints made into another print and sold in Germany. Some people think they can just pick a photo off the net and profit from my hard work.

opps... that sounds like a complaint.... I just don't like the idea of my auctions winging off to other Ebay sites with the funds being translated to their exchange rate equilivant.

Here's and example of Exchange rate problems that surprised me. I was trying to buy Samuri Swords from a Chinese dealer in pound Sterling. The exchange rate is more than 50% higher so Shipping in Pound Sterling was 60 PS which exchanges to 128. US. That was a little high for shipping. The exchange rate changes every 15 minutes. Ebay must be fairly sure that forign bidders are going to us PayPal. If not, I sure don't want to mess with exchange rate calculations for my customers.
