And don't forget to read between the lines...

Many of the buyers who bought the stolen cards will not be able to use them. The store cards gained by credits for stolen merchandise will be invalidated by the stores.

The buyer is the big loser. I can't believe they only gave the guy 2 years for such a large scale fraud.

I knew a girl who did shoplift/return for credit scam. Local authorities would just run her out of the state. She would move and be back in business within a week. She made over 70K a year and did it for over 5 years. Even though she has an arrest record in 5 states, they would never prosecute her. I could not believe it. She finally got locked up for 5 years for passing computer generated cash.

And they say crime doesn't pay!

Every time I hear about one of the schemes to make money I know I was never meant to be a criminal! Who thinks up these things??? People spend so much time thinking up illegal ways to make money gosh... I must be destined to be a hard working poor schlep!
