Reading about this WANT IT NOW thingy today,,It finally hit me in the FACE...
So I went there....Cool,,,NOT....I wondered how does e bay make MONEY ,then I clicked on one that I can get TONS of what they WANT NOW! NOW I see you MUST direct them to an existing lisiting or go through the WHOLE listing process for ONE MayBE Buyer? NO way!
Anyway,,,,,I click on this, want it now says he/she wants fur coats,,,,I see a response,What? an e bay listing for a cut off head mounted on the wall of Rudolf the red nose reindeer? A Deer,,,? what the HEll does that have to do with Fur coats?
SPAM!!!!!!!!!Abuse!
edited to say, I was thinking it would be kind of a Chat thing, YES I have HUNDREDS of these things,,,,let me know and I will list them on e bay and direct you to the auction..NOT!
The way it is Now Spam! Spam! spam! and I read about the e bay SAFEGURADS of this VERY situation,Obviously, there are NONE! hahahahaha...Do they REALLY sit down at a board meeting and DISCUSS ideas? NOT.....

Jack--I've noticed that happening too. Someone wants a certain item but you see numerous listings for stuff not even close to what the item is. I can see it definitely getting out of hand soon. I have had a sale from there and it was what the person asked for so it does work.
I put something on the Want It Now. I have been looking for a certain Christmas ornament for several years. One lady started sending me auctions for all kinds of ornaments even though I was very specific about what I wanted. Even gave the name and who put it out.
On each offer there is a report button to use if these items don't pertain to your request. I used it and she stopped.
OTOH, another lady had my ornament.

I Thought it was gonna be like e bays 25% ownershipped CRAIGSLIST.ORG site....WANTED,,,AND was REALLY hoping for the BEST. Craigslist.org WANTED section is a bunch of Welfare reciepiants,,,Will pay Nothing,too poor,,,woe is me, Help me, Send me $100.00 I'll pay you back DOUBLE in the Morning.....Need a car, FREE,Donate it to me. OH! edited to say,,,,this Oh so poor thing is in the L.A. area....Once without realizing it I was in the SAN FRANCISCO area,,,I saw MINIMAL beggars..L.A.,,,,,,FULL of BEGGARS.It's a BEGGARS board....
