I know this discussion came up with this misterious 7 day duration fee showing up on our ebay billing statements.

Well guess what, it now shows up on the listing confirmation at ebay as well. The fee increase is coming. Any guess as to when?

Listing fees
Insertion fee: $ 2.40
7 day duration fee: Free
Total listing fee: $ 2.40

On or before Feb 18th. No way they're going to have an effective 14 day listing cheaper than a 10 day listing.

Stop - In a word... no. Sellers have a reason to venture outward, they are looking for lower fees or high ending prices. Bidders go where they can find what they want at a price they are willing to pay. They have been finding just that on ebay for years. Why should they go elsewhere?
