DO NOT start to read The Da Vinci Code!!!! I purchased a copy on Ebay and started reading it. I literally could not put the book down! I've lost so much time from work because of that book!

LOL ... I found myself online looking at Da Vinci's paintings (especially The Last Supper) and researching some of it. It is definitely a gripping novel!

It is absolutely phenomenal! You have got to read this book! It's essentially about the quest for the Holy Grail and the Priory of Sion. BUT, it brings it forth to modern day. There has been a murder of the curator of the Louvre and the entire story takes place around a series of puzzles in trying to solve the mystery of the whereabouts of the Holy Grail before it falls into the wrong hands. It is based on alot of facts, but the story is fiction. Once you pick it up, you just can't put it down!

Maggie -- I haven't read Angels & Demons yet, but definitely plan to read it. The Da Vinci Code is the BEST book I have read in quite a while.

The Da vinci code was a "two sitting" book for me. I got absolutely NOTHING done around here. Absolutley fabulous book. Turns...twists...this and that...loved it.
The Discovery channel aired "Unlocking the Da Vinci Code" that shows both sides of the claims in the book. Dan Brown was on it giving his view on some of the mysteries.
If you haven't read this book, it is well worth the time. The last time that I read a book this quick was when John Grisham's "The Client" came out several years ago.
Maggie, "Angels and Demons" will be the next book I get, you are the 5th person this week to recommend it! I had shoulder surgery a couple of weeks ago (yes, typing with left hand only) and a neighbor is going to lend me her copy when I'm off the pain meds so I can concentrate.
