Deleted the question-the answer below shows why it really does not pay to ask questions-it use to be different but lately - ---everybody have a great day

Hi deur1. I will answer your questions since I am stuck in this house and cannot seem to get myself jazzed about much of anything today.

1. You will not get a free 30 days on the same Ebay ID. They already know who you are, and that you got the freebie already. If you attempt this you will get an sweet email, that says, YOU CHEATING SLIMEBALL how dare you try to get over on us like this! YOUR TOAST brother!

2. Is this a trick question or are you trying to disclose to us you did not attend e-bay university and your lied on your resume that you did?

no problem - I called my PowerSeller Account Manager ( ya know that personal dude they assign to deal with ya questions) he answered it for moi.

I was not upset or anything .... been selling on eBay since 99 and on AW/VD since 99.
I can recall when this was the "haven" for help and support.

Anyway,I simply went to the source of the matter(eBay)and got the answer

-------------------------------------------------A major problem with some people is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

I really was just trying to be funny....
But I thought deur1 was too?
(Final value based on number of days???)

Itray, he/she asked how to configure closing a store and then reopening one to get another free 30 day trial. I guess alot of people think they can do that, so I thought my answer was approriate as ebay does already know who you are as ID xxxx and nobody will get another free 30 days.

2. I never had a store long enough so I dont know if it's a different fee schedule, but he/she asked if the final value was effected from manipulating listings extending between 30 to 120 days (something like that) so I asked if that is a trick question? I always thought final value fees (even if other fees are different on stores) was based on price of the item no matter how long you run it.

Maybe moi needs to be a powerseller to see a set-up sandwich coming. Afterall, One Tit will always deserve a good Tat [ edited by dblfugger9 on Feb 17, 2005 02:01 AM ]

It still is deur1...really.
You could get many answers, right, wrong, good, bad, sarcastic or funny, but for sure what you want to know will be among them.

ANOTHER free 30 days?---where was that
question

he/she/me never asked HOW to open, close or get ANOTHER 30 days--

Like I said my question was answered.

Jane, you are correct,it really is as you stated. I have gleaned a lot of helpful tidbits here.

As the rhyme goes "sometimes ya feel like a nut sometimes ya don't."

I guess when I ask the question I was in
"sometimes ya don't" mode.

ok, but where does that saying really rhyme?

deur1, since you deleted the questions and the way it was worded, nobody can see what you did ask, now can they? If you were talking about manipulating your store during or before the fee transitions going on, there is a whole thread on that from a few days ago. I am not a power seller, I am a luuv seller, so naturally I cannot relate to those strategic brain-storming moves, just as apparantly you'd wouldnt relate to my funny little nuts,so sorry to trip up your day\

dbl

WRONG. I re-opened a store after having closed it for a month and got another free 30 days. Maybe it's because there was a month inbetween, but I did get 30 more days. I wouldn't make a habit of it, though.

ah Cheryl, you were one of the lucky one's then and must have skipped in with a glitch. I re-opened a store 8 months after the first try, and altho I thought I got it free again, it showed up on the following months billing.
