"Look at me, I'm Sandra Dee..."

Strange But True Tom-Tale:

When I took my kid & his daughter to London two summers ago, we went nutso for the West-End theatres (saw three shows) -- my favorite was: "Grease"

The English kids did a really super job with their American accents -- except for ONE, very important word!

The kid who played "Danny," just COULD NOT pronounce the name "Sandy" -- everytime he said that name, it came out: "Cindy" and just about DROVE ME NUTS!

Im still waiting to see the Bobby Darin movie, Beyond the Sea.I heard Kevin Spacey did a real good job.Kevin sings the music in the movie.A D.J.here played one song by Darin, and played the same song by Kevin and you could hardly tell the difference.Kate Bosworth plays Sandra Dee(Darins wife)in the movie.
