If you are running FireFox, then go to Bookmark & click on Mozilla, it will give you a menu & you can get your update. The last update was 2-24-05. It takes about 10 minutes to download & install.

Thanks sanmar. Sorry, was off computer a bit.
I had a time finding the download myself. Then I went wound up at this firefox mozilla forum, and they said if you had version 1.0 to remove the whole thing and do a clean install for the newest 1.01 So thats what I did. The new dictionary extension thing looks helpful and the color thingie looks interesting if I took the time to figure out what it does.
Heres the link if anybody stills wants it.
The download is in the upper right hand corner in green coloring:

FYI;
Whenever there is an upgrade available for Firefox or any extension you have installed, you'll see a little red circle with an arrow in the upper right corner of the screen.
Just to the left of the little circle of circles.
I'm about circled out...
Best,
Michael

Thanks Micheal, I was going to post that ..the red circle is there anytime your Mozilla Foxfire needs updating.
No red circle -no problem
the gray circle is always there

So if my circle is gray, I don't need an upgrade? When I click on "about" in the help menu it says version 1.0 (I did download something and there is an unload icon on my desktop - but have not installed it yet - do they go by the fact that I downloaded or did it get magically installed?) Do I sound about as clueless as I am LOL?

That is correct
If it is red - it need attention, not always an upgrade, but it is needing your attention

Firefox isn't performing very well for me. I get tons of "page not found" errors and timeouts. It's back to Internet Explorer for me.

Hi neglus, this is from their forum page for firefox version 1.01
http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=225601&sid=51f3052adade8ca1572a96240490446e
Firefox 1.0.1 has been released to address several security issues. Users should unistall the prior version, backup/delete existing profiles, and then install Firefox 1.0.1 UPDATE: The 1.0.1 Auto-update is now avaliable for Windows uses. Firefox should alert you that there is an update waiting with an alert icon in the toolbar.
So the auto update is supposed to work now. I would think if you downloaded ver 1.01 and just executed the file open, it should update what you already have?? At first I thought the upgrades were just for the extensions and features which did not fully take you to version 1.01 -- but I dont know what to think now. As I said I uninstalled 1.0 and reinstalled the 1.01 so I think I am set with it anyway.
