How does a buyer have their strike reversed if you as the seller closed the dispute? I just checked on my disputes where I had a buyer reverse his own strike. He never paid me period.

Why didn't Ebay contact me to check if this buyer had indeed paid?

Have anyone experienced this bogus situation??

Hello:

Just happened to me; wouldn't have seen it if I hadn't filed for a mutual agreement to cancel sale.

Called eBay just out of curiousity since the entry after the item number said: "Closed. Strike reversed." Like you, I never did get paid. I did, however, get my FVF which did not get reversed. The rep told me the buyer was able to prove "extraneous circumstances," all strikes were removed, and the buyer was thus re-instated. I suspect something similar happened in your case.

Cheers.
B/
