Hi
It looks like on the USPS site, that you can just buy the postage and fill out customs right on the website.
We do postage everything and just drop off at the P.O.
Now we tried it on one, and filled out the customs online, and to be sure we took it to the clerk, and asked if we could do this, and just drop off instead of waiting in line and filling out the customs there. She said yes.
So she just took the package we had and we left.
2 days later we get it back, and it was marked 'see PO clerk'
So anyone use the online postage AND customs and just drop off for Canada?
Thanks!

I have been in a battle with our local PO about click and ship and international sales. Everyday the PO comes to my office and takes the packages away. A few days later I get them back saying that they need to be handed to a clerk. Finally I pointed out that PO driver is an employee of the PO and handing him the packages is good enough. So far no more problems.

The PROBLEM tain't the online printing of CUSTOMS forms, it's the offline brain-death of POSTAL CLERKS!
ALL customs forms MUST be postmarked at the counter, or the packie will be returned to you by the AIRLINES!
HOWEVER, most of the pretzel-chokers pretending to work at the PO windows DON'T KNOW THIS!
EVERYTIME I do an international packie, I have to remind the drone to PM THE CUSTOMS FORM!

Thanks pop, I don't know if it would happen again if I try it
Tom, I know, when I took it back to the clerk, she was perplexed, and then STAMPED it, just like you said, so, I believe the USPS website is pretty deceiving, it may work for some though, like in popnrock said above, but most of the time, I'm afraid its going to be returned
