The only thing I've sent to New York has been via FedEx, but for slow mail, it takes 10 days to two weeks for a letter to go to or from Dallas and my location in central Calif.

Wow, I haven't been having any trouble sending items to New York. Did you address the item exactly as is was written to you. There addresses are strange with many having dashes (1254-65 121st St. for example) If you remove the dash and spread the numbers, it will screw up delivery times. Why? Not sure, but it sure means something out there.
