I was able to place a clickable link to my Ebay Store in my Ebay ads. I also want to plate the link in all of my outgoing e-mails. Have tried, but, it doesn't work. Any suggestions? <a href=http://stores.ebay.com/sissygalantiquescollectibles>Visit My Ebay Store</a>

The problem is that the clickable link, "Visit My Ebay Store" does not work in e-mail.

Do the following:

http://www.stores.ebay.com/sissygalantiquescollectibles

This should work

The problem lies in if you are using HTML in your email or not. I know in Outlook, you can choose to have your email in HTML, plain text or Microsoft Rich Text. THEN you would have to hope your customers are also using the same format.

Back in the old AOL days, you could choose a signature - thus pointing to where ever you hoped they would visit.

When I switched to Outlook I tried every which way but loose to emulate that but never could figure it out.

I think the above poster is correct - just put the http: link in your email and if your email DOES do HTML it should turn into a link after you hit the space bar (or enter)

For the people that choose not to receive HTML email - then it would simply be a cut and paste format for them.

OK, in Outlook - you can click on INSERT - HYPERLINK and type in your url address - but you would also get an option to "choose" the text to display. How that would work for non-Outlook people I have no idea. And no clue as to how to set that up as a default signature line, so that you would have to do that everytime you want to send an email.

rarepostcards, the url that you posted will work in Outlook Express but I can't find a way to hide the url and show only the words, "Visit My Ebay Store".

Like this....

Visit My Ebay Store

And then as Glassgrl pointed out, the recipients may not have HTML.
