I sell the same items and in different sizes. I have an ebay store, and to drive traffic to the store, I start auctions with a dollar less than the store price AND a BIN with the store price

So, a bidder bid on the auction of this item, and someone else bid it up, and poof, the BIN disappears, and they bid, and it ended at $35. I sell these in the store for $27.99, and the BIN are ALL $27.99

Send it, and with DC. That was on Mar 18, I get an email today that she didn't get it, where is it.. I pull out the DC slip, check it, says it was delivered to her PO in her city on Mar 22. I email her this info. She writes back, no, she went to her PO and there is nothing there

I wrote all this because I believe she thinks she paid too much. (she MUST have saw the BIN, and most likely sees them in the store at the $27.99) This is one I truley believe received the shoes, and either wants her money back or more shoes.

And it was PayPal UNCONFIRMED and I know, I should know better and send to confirmed only, but never had a problem before.

Is there anything else I can do to find out about this 'missing package' No use calling her, she will tell me what she told me in email.

Anyone else have this type problem??

I had 2 in the last month try to say they didn't receive but busted them both with delivery confirmation.
I think I read here before that you should call the post office and see if the carrier remembers delivering the package...if so then it could be considered mail fraud .....someone will come along and help you more in a few

Hi Toasted
I thought that telling her I used DC and on the site it does say it was delivered, that telling her that would be it, but no..

Her last email to me

I never received the shoes. I called the post office, and they said that the tracking number cannot be searched and to contact you for information. I don’t know what to do here.

Well the tracking number I gave her, is the same I used on the site, and dang sure shows it was delivered, at least to her P.O. So calling her P.O. and telling them it shows on the USPS Track and Confirm site that its there, you think may help?

I'm about to email back and send another pair, but IF I do, I am getting insurance, AND signature confirmation.

I don't see how it could hurt. I'm pretty sure I've seen a couple of threads here about how the carrier found the box at the post office and one on the carrier remember delivering it to the wrong house and how he went and got it and delivered to the right house. I hope someone who knows more steps in and helps some more.

Take your copy of the CD to your PO & have them trace it. Also you can go online & get the info from the USPS. Make a copy & take that to your PO. If it was left on the doorstep & she never received it then I think you are SOL, because it wasn't signed for.

NearTheSea, did you offer insurance?...Was it declined by the buyer?...If the buyer declined insurance, and your DC says it was delivered, I'd say it's not your problem...

I think she wants a free pair of shoes!

I had this happen to me. I knew that the buyer was telling the truth and she didn't receive it. She was really frantic. I called the 1-800 phone number for the USPS. I found out the phone number for the buyer's post office and spoke with them there. The mail carrier was supposed to call me back but didn't. BUT ... 2 days later the buyer received the package. I don't know if it was misdelivered or if the mail carrier lost it and then found it again. Either way, the buyer received it and was happy.

Try calling the buyer's post office and see what you can come up with. Personally, I wouldn't ship out another pair until I tried this.

Thanks all. I think I will try her Post Office.

But I did email her back, and told her I'd be sending another pair, with Signature Confirmation, and I said to be sure this is your address, and typed it out in email

She shot an email right back and said, SEE you got my zip wrong

Well actually I did not, it was late last night, and I didn't have my contacts in, so this morning, I look at the DC slip and it IS the right one, I typed an 8 instead of a 6.

So by doing that, she's probably really happy about getting a 2nd pair. (I still believe she has the first, I just have a feeling she does)

But I'll try calling her PO also

Thanks all!
