Is there any way to find a member's ebay username if I only have their email address? I tried to search with the email address and it won't show the username because our transaction was longer than 60 days ago. If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

Did they leave you a feedback? Or did you leave them a feedback? Do you have the auction number? If you have the auction number put it in the search and check the box for closed auctions. I think they are in the data base for 90 days.

Yes subscribe to Ebays selling Manger which costs $5.00 a month. If the transaction occured within the last 90 days type in thier email address, after clicking on sold listings...this will display all pertinent info

Selling manager is free starting May (if you have a store), and I believe the first month is free so if you sign up now you dont have to pay at all.

It was actually a LONG time ago- a year or more. I'm thinking that there is no way to get the username. I don't have an auction #, not that it would matter after so long.

Thanks for the replies.

If you use Vendio's services, you should be able to download a Sales Manager > Download Sales Archive into Excel spreadsheet and that should include the email address as well as user name and lots of other information.

Well. Is it too easy to suggest that you simply email them and ask? Barring some reason why you don't want them to know that you're looking for them of course.

How about searching your own transaction records for their ID. If you aren't recording it, you should be.

Why do you need the info?

If they paid with pay pal...you can do a search on their e-mail address if they used that one to pay for the item. Their ebay id might be in the payment details...if not look to see if the item # is mentioned...if so you can use the item # and check your feedback to see if they left you feedback for that transaction and their ebay id will be there.
