Darn! I clicked through the announcement on the opening page of PayPal - does anyone have a link to it? I can't seem to find reference to it in the "what's New" section of PP site.

rats! I didn't read it the whole thing - but I think as i clicked through I saw something about instant cash transfers for withdrawing funds...

When I signed in to PP today there was an ad before I got to my account - I was in a hurry and just skimmed it - thought I would read it later. I THINK it said that you could set up with Wells Fargo to do INSTANT funds transfer as opposed to waiting the customary few days for transfer. Now I can't find it again

It won't go any faster than PayPal does it. The bank has nothing to do with it. IF they accept wire transfers. Almost all of the large banks do, but there some s,all country banks yhat can't.

I expected it to be set up differently than normal wire transfer - more like transfers between accounts within the same bank (immediate at Wells Fargo)..are you sure this isn't Sanmar?

I read the ad, and didn't see anywhere that said it is faster. It just said quickly, but that doesn't mean it is quicker than your current bank. If the transfer was immediate, I definitely would open up a WF bank account to speed up the process. Without it, there isn't any motivation as it seems to take 2 days now to transfer. I think paypal would have to be a bank to make this work faster, and there isn't ANY way I am giving them control of my money!
