I have accepted Western Union Bidpay payments a couple of times when I had International bidders - typically I only ship within the USA but have made some exceptions. But can Bidpay be used for US payments as well, or is it just for international bidders? Couldn't find too much information through Bidpay.

An a non-U.S. seller I can confirm that BidPay is for everyone! We get a lot of U.S. bidders using it on smaller purchases as it's convenient and we can ship on verification by logging in to our BidPay account.
However it's much cheaper to buy money orders at WalMart, your local supermarket, or 7 Eleven in most of the U.S., but the downside is we can't ship until the money order arrives in our hot hands and we can verify it's genuine (and importantly not a USPS domestic-only money order which are non-negotiable outside the U.S.A.) Another option for small purchases is well hidden cash in envelope - never lost one yet (in 30 years) finger's crossed.
