Can anyone reading this help me?
I use WordPerfect 9 to create my auction descriptions. Somehow tonight I clicked something on my mouse and the document format totally changed, screwed me up.
Usually, the application bar at the bottom of my screen shows the internet sites I have open, plus the clickable bar for the WordPerfect document, and when I'm working on my descriptions, I can click back & forth from the document to an internet site to check something, whether eBay, ABE Books, or whatever.
However, tonight when I screwed things up, when I open the WordPerfect document, it no longer shows any internet sites at the bottom bar, so I can not do any back & forth navigating, I have to minimize the WP document and that is indeed a very annoying thing.
I've just spent an hour going through WP settings, etc., and have not found out how to correct this problem.
Can anyone help me, this is definitely not the kind of aggravation a full-time eBay seller needs.

Have you tried turning your computer off--then on again? That magic works for me frequently.
I have to add, though, that lately something very strange has been happening as I'm writing descriptions in Vendio, to schedule for launch. The top tool bars dissappear and some pale imitation appears, but without the "edit" and other major functions. I have to log out of Vendio, go to my e-mail or somewhere, come back, and it's there. I'm sure I'm not hitting some strange button called "toolbar hell." I've even thought of asking here in the EO if anyone else has had this happen to them.

Hello Roadsmith~
Yep, re-booted the computer, but I've altered something in the Wordperfect bottom-of-page format, so that didn't help. Need to know some kind of command or setting revision so I can get the application bar with the internet sites to reappear at the bottom of my WordPerfect doc when I'm working on it.

Don't know if this will work for you or not.
1. Right click on a blank spot in the taskbar (the one on the bottom when you are not in Word Perfect), click on properties.
2.On the "taskbar options" menu, make sure "always on top" is selected. If not, do so, then click OK. (You might have to re-start your puter first before trying 3., but try 3. first anyways).
3.Try going into WP again and see if the taskbar now cooperates by staying "always on top".

You're a life-saver for me tonight. It worked, thanks so much!
Isn't it amazing that even after 7 years working on this 'puter on eBay stuff, an involuntary twitch of the fingers on the mouse can still cause something to happen that you have absolutely no idea how to undo.
Anyway, your solution worked just fine, the grey is once again slowly fading out of my hair!
roadsmith: I've no experience on that one. Best bet would likely be the appropriate Vendio technical discussion board where a moderator might might be able to answer your questions.

I haven't used WordPerfect in years! I didn't even know it was still around. I used to prefer that and QuattroPro over Word and Excel. It took a good long while to get used to Word. What I used to like about WP is that you can view the coding. Makes changing things easier.
