Have some plates with a leafy pattern here, and also some tumblers. On the tumblers there is a paneled area going a little more than half-way up, then flares a little bit to smoothness. .... this stuff sure is hard to get good pictures of. ... any help out there with pattern name/makers? ... thanks so much ...

It has the look of Tiffin Glass - but not a Tiffin color or at least a common one. Can't tell on the pattern - can you unstack them?
Max will be here soon to let us know (hopefully)

hi ladyjewels ... took a pic of one of the plates, unstacked, and it looked sort of crappy so I was hoping you or Max or someone would just know it from these pics .... we'll see ..... gentle 'bump' ...

I believe that the plate is "S" Pattern, "Stippled Rose Band" by MacBeth-Evans Glass Co. circa 1930-33. The tumbler I do not know.

No Dorrie - don't think so but if you look under Crystal in Replacements and look under MacBeth then the pattern "Leaf" in pink you will not find the example, - the plot thickens

look under green and I am pretty sure this is the one

Estatesalestuff - sorry
Still no help from me - I checked a couple of depression books, my 40's & 50's book, my elegant depression book and my Florence ID guide. NOTHING. I don't have all the books Max does but hope to get more soon.
I don't think is S pattern either.
Is there fruit on the plate?
Can you tell me how to post a photo - I have it one my other computer but can't get back to it right now.
Thanks

Thanks for all your efforts! ... I see a similar one on ebay but it seems to only have leaves in the band around the margin ...
(note the "interesting" ebay ID name of the seller LOL)

niel35 - sorry I misread your post. That must be it then.
I broke down and went back to my old computer so I have the image thing - thanks anyway.

Niel had it right, Leaf-Pink. It's not shown in any of my books. Must be a very short run pattern. MacBeth made their molds work for them, putting out all different colors and trims on same shape piece.
As for the tumbler, It's not distinctive enough for me to identify.
If you tell them Benjamin Franklin said it first, they'll believe you
