does anyone happen to have any of the threads about it that have been posted here? trying to get more familiar with it.

I don't know where the threads are - too bad there is no search feature available for message board. Perhaps Tom can post the link he gave to ebay guide to IRFAN view. It really is great! My sister and I call it "roadkill" because of the desktop icon. I use it to crop and compress my images - really is simple once you get the hang of it.

thanks, neglus! yes, that's what i remember, is Tom's post about it. love that roadkill icon!
i remember that you or Tom also said it can be used to "stitch" images together. i like the way your scans turn out on ebay, btw. have a handful of items in my store that use more than one image and it struck me that i might as well learn irfan and stitch those together and skip the extra cost per month of multiple images in a store item.

I think Tom & Ralphie are the experts on this program. I use it but to be honest - I don't know all the ins and outs. Maybe someone can get you back to the thread??/
