These all came from one bidder in just two days of communication in an attempt to get out of paying their auction. These all came seperately in different emails.

1) "You don't accept Paypal" (not true).

2) "You have negative feedback" ( 6 year seller, my rating: 4880/99.2%).

3) "You have an outside checkout system (vendio). You are a fraud."

4) "You don't reply to my emails" (he sent all of these 4 emails within 3 hours of the end of auction, and i was not able to reply yet).

Today I filed the dispute for nonpayment and called the bidder for the first time. No answer, left message.

Bidder then follows up in the dispute with...

5) "Seller is an idiot, the auction is an XL, he is selling a Large."

So I decide to call him and discuss the matter.

6) "I just don't want to pay for it."

7) "I can't afford it"

8) "You tried to send 300 corrupt files to my computer."

9) "You are corrupt, and your feedback proves it. You had no intentions of sending me my item, just take my money."

Ahhhh.... the new eBay system allows me to close the dispute right away. i made sure to note all of their excuses. and after my auctions end tonight... feedback. i just wish I could include all of their excuses in 80 characters.

The worst deadbeats and people accusing me of everything under the sun came from Yahoo. The most threatning were on Amazon (international).

You should have heard him when he answered the phone. He knew it was me calling. He sounded like an arrogant redneck who just took a bong hit and hadn't exhaled yet.

He had perfect feedback until now.

I had one this week that said he couldn't pay because his mother had unexpectedly just taken her own life and he was stuck with the funeral expenses. He sounded honest.

You are way too patient.

I'd have probably filed for NPB after #3. I certainly would have done the NPB, plus a big fat NEG after #5.

I don't call bidders. They bid by internet they can pay by internet. My days of working retail hours are long over

That was an impressive list of excuses! I saw in someone's feedback the other day that he had a scathing negative. In his response he posted a web page to go to where he had posted all the emails he had received from this bidder. It really did the trick for me as a bidder, showed what a nut job he had been dealing with - perhaps you could do something similar?
