I downloaded it and we'll see how it works. I've been overwhelmed by Software and Pharmacy emails. Free for now it plans to charge for it later:

How does Blue Security make its money?

We plan to charge a membership fee that will allow both individual users and enterprises to join the Blue Community without having to install any software.

Will existing users have to pay to remain part of the Community?

No. Consumers who join the Community at the beta phase, and continue to participate in the loss induction process, will always enjoy free registration for their personal e-mail addresses.

I think it's working! Every now and then the little blue frog in the task bar puts on a black eye mask and if I hover the mouse over it - it says it is submitting a spam report.

My only concern is my eBay email getting caught up in it! I downloaded it, though. I'll see what happens. I do get legit email that could look like spam.

well that was quick!

"Laura,

Blue Frog does not filter your email. In fact it does not review it in any way.

Blue Frog complains at web sites advertised by spam to achieve deterrence in the minds of spammers such that they will stop sending you spam. It complains primarily about spam collected in spam sensors - trap mailboxes. You may forward us your spam for analysis by forwarding it to our operations center. Assuming your username is JohnDoe you should send it to [email protected] (replace 'johndoe' with your actual account in our system)
