I was wondering if anyone here could give me an idea of when to start selling Christmas ornaments? I have some vintage and some from the 70's, 80's and 90's that are just sitting around here in boxes taking up closet space. Also, is it better to sell them individually or in lots. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

I've noticed Christmas stuff start at the middle to end of September, with the real buying frenzy being in early Novemenber. I would sell them in lots, but check the completed auctions to see how others are selling them.

Mid-October until about December 1st, in my experience. After Dec. 1, people are spending money on gifts. If you go too far into November, the money and energy is going toward Thanksgiving, I believe. I always see these buyers as women with families, but I suppose there are men collectors as well.
If the ornaments are vintage-gorgeous, I list them one at a time; otherwise, in groups. JMHO
