I bought a Sega Genesis system with several games. I can find them all on eBay except the one called Batman Returns. Does anyone know anything about it please? I would like some idea of how much to list it for.

I routinely ignore Genesis systems at garage sales when they are more than $5.00 and cartridges more than $2.00

The problem is they were way overproduced past their point of obsolescence. While people were buying Dreamcasts and Nintendo 64s, Sega was still pumping out these systems for as little as $30 new. And this was only a couple of years ago.

They're good, fun systems, but they are nearly worthless for resale. ESPECIALLY on eBay, where they're as common as dirt.

Nice game system, but Sega barely competed with Nintendo 64 and Sony Playstation. Sega was left in the dust when when the next generation of game systems arrived (XBox, PS2, Gamecube), and was evenually boughtout by Nintendo. Since most gamers moved to the newest systems, there is an overabundance of the games in circulation. Value of the games will barely offset postage costs.

There are a few rare games, but most are pretty common and not worth much. Can't hardly give the system away. I think even at $2 are too high, unless there are some unusual ones. They sell slowly too!

Thanks for the helps and comments. I guess I have not done bad, I have sold the games in my store for $10, $6.40, $3 and $4.50. I just couldn't find this one for some reason, I appreciate the link.
