I launched several different auctions tonight (see my eBay id mcsmiths-outpost).
Why do they all have the same gallery picture? I took great pains to make sure all the photos were set up properly in Vendio.
What did I do wrong now?
Thanks.

If you are copying the same auction in Vendio, then you may be forgetting to change the gallery picture. It is just below where you select your pictures. (Sometimes you have to use the scroll bar to see it.) I bet that is what happened. You can still change the gallery pictures by revising the auction in Ebay. I'm terrible with words so perhaps someone here can explain it more succinctly than I can.

I don't see where to select a gallery picture anywhere in Vendio. Would you please hold my hand and tell me exactly where to find it?
I did find where to change the listing on eBay, but I sure don't see where to do this in Vendio.
Yes, I guess I'm blind.

OK ... Let me see if I can explain this so that you'll understand. I'm really bad with words, so bare with me.
When you are creating a listing (whether you have copied it or are creating a new listing), and you insert your pictures (where it says "select images" , at the bottom of that square it says "ebay gallery image". Select the image that you would like for your gallery picture.
Now, to revise your auction so that you have the correct image -- go into the auction that you need to revise. Click on "revise your item" at the top of the screen. Scroll down to the link that says "edit pictures and details" and click on it. Scroll down to where it says "gallery picture web address". You will see a box with the image address that is already there. Delete it out. Then open up a separate window for vendio and log in. At the top of the screen in Vendio it says "jump to", click the arrow and select under images "manage images". Find the image that you would like for your gallery image and click on it. Then where you have your image in front of you, right click on your mouse and select "properties". You will see "address (URL)" for that image. Copy it with your browser.
Now, go back to the ebay window that you are revising and right click the browser and "paste" the URL into the box for "gallery picture web address". Then scroll down and click "save changes". Scroll all the way down to the bottom again and click "submit changes". You will now have the correct gallery image.
Print this out and follow it step-by-step and you shouldn't have any problems. (I hope!)

Hey Diane. Thank you very much for your explanation. I've figured out how to modify the image on the actual eBay listing. Yay!
However, I still can't figure out how to change the gallery image for a listing in Vendio. I'm using the Inventory Edition. I just spoke with Roadsmith on the phone and we're thinking that maybe this is specified somewhere else in the Inventory Edition.

It sure didn't sound like you were bad with words, Diane. That was a great step by step explanation!

I still haven't figured out where in the Inventory Edition of Vendio to specify the eBay gallery image. I posted a message under Vendio Services also, but no replies there.
I'm stumped.

To add even more confusion to this situation, a couple, but not all of my Vendio gallery photos are correct, but most still show the photo of my original listing (from which I copied the others). Some changed to the proper photo when I changed the eBay gallery photo from eBay -- most did not.
If you want to see what I mean, take a look at my auctions (mcsmiths-outpost).
Also, many of the cross-sell items at the bottom of my listings have the incorrect photos.
Does anyone know where to change the photos for both the Vendio gallery and the eBay cross-sell feature?

Looks like no one uses the Inventory edition - hopefully a VD rep will answer your question in the IE forum. I have no clue how IE works - I downloaded the manual and when I realized it was designed for people listing the same items over and over (not one of a kind) I gave up on it.

Bummer. The Inventory Edition suits my needs better, at least according to the information I reviewed when I signed up for Vendio.
