I can't connect to any of the eBay sites. Good thing I list thru Vendio, or I wouldn't know how my auctions are doing.

OK, I need some help. I've checked with friends here in Milwaukee, and they are able to get on eBay. I cannot. All I get is a blank screen. The address shows up in the address bar ok. I've tried my eBay and Googled eBay site. No way can I get eBay to show up on my screen. All other sites in my favorites work ok. HELP!

jeez Max ... i suppose you tried the emptying cache temp file stuff w/ a reboot, right? .... have you tried going in with a different browser than you normally use?

Max - I have a vague recollection of a notice that people might have to make adjustments to allow pop-ups from Ebay. Maybe you need to check your pop-up settings. (just my wag - good luck)

I had some trouble browsing yesterday and I just figured Ebay was making some more programming changes.
Update your Windows if you have that and like estate said - clear your cache, toss your cookies and reboot.
PS no pop ups....ever!

Max -- Clear out all of your cookies and temp internet files. I have had this happen, and once I do this, everything works find again.

I would suggest the same thing. You may have to go into Windows Explorer and manually delete the temp internet files, and also delete the identical files from the backup temp files directory. It could also be a corrupt cookie, so delete all your cookies while you're at it. Then, instead of a reboot, shut down your computer completely. Wait 30 seconds, or until the hard drive spins down. Then start up again and try to log on.

Deleted temp files and cookies. Shut down, waited a minute and rebooted. No luck, still can't get in.

Download a copy of Opera browser and install it. Just make sure you don't select it as your default browser when it installs. Then, try logging in through Opera. It makes an excellent backup (or primary) browser, and makes it easy to isolate the source of problems such as this. Be sure to select the free version, which has a tiny ad in the banner of the home page.

The only thing I can think of is perhaps your server is having a denial of service attack. Not sure if I just called that the right thing or not - but didn't this happen a few years ago with Ebay for some of the larger ISP's?
If all else fails, you may want to call your provider and see if they have any other similar complaints.
Getting through to them though is a whole other issue!

Maybe your security level is set too high? Ebay is full of cookies

I've been having intermittent problems with their cookies lately. Just started about 2 weeks ago. Lowered my security level and that still didn't help. I'm going to try some of the suggestions above to see if that will help.

I downloaded Opera (Free version), but it couldn't find the server. I guess I'll call it a night, and worry about it in the morning.
Thanks for the suggestions.

I have one other suggestion ... Try mozilla. When my SO had trouble with IE, I downloaded Mozilla for him. He went for a long time with no problems until a redirect went through. We were able to fix it through his start programs, and he's able to use it again.
