Hi all. I have some vintage Fiestaware dinner plates in yellow that I would like to list. However, they have been used and all of them have heavy utensil marks. Does anyone know how I can remove some or all of those marks? Thanks for your help.

Try Soft Scrub. If the dishes are scratched I don't think it will help but if they have rub marks - Soft Scrub will take them right out.

If you're talking about black marks from utensils, the will come off with lots of elbow grease and Simichrome polish.

I tried the Soft Scrub and it didn't work very good. I had some Bartenders Friend was afraid to use it because it's so abrasive. But then I thought... what the heck...and it worked!! They look almost brand new. Thanks all.

Sorry the Soft Scrub didn't do the job but I like the semichrome idea. I have tons of that for Bakelite testing and some 50's dinnerware that needs some really heavy cleaning.
georgiapeach49 - I'm a Georgia Peach too and I was born in '49.
What part of Georgia are you from?

Lady, I was born in the hills of North Georgia in a small town called Toccoa, it's claim to fame is a bible college at the foot of Toccoa Falls. Now, I live half way between Atlanta & Macon, in a small town called Jackson, it's claim to fame is the State Prison where they keep the REALLY bad boys!

I was born in beautiful Savannah, Ga. We plan a sibling reunion the week of Labor Day. I now live in Jax Fl which is such a long way from Ga. that it is sometimes called South Georgia. LOL
